Anita Ike Rest In Peace September 5, 2013
Pastor Bosun,

You were a good man with a large heart. You served God with immense passion. You loved your family unconditionally. It was evident. Your marriage was exemplary and should be emulated by Christian couples.  You lovingly tendered your sheep with a disciplined approach.

The sound of your voice thundering on Sunday mornings and on operation PUSH Wednesdays will live with me. I most of the times would stand by my kitchen window listening to your sermons.

I always saw your concern for my children on your face. Always wishing and hoping they fulfill their divine destiny.

You left quite early. As you always said, your bags were always packed and you were ready to go.

Death cannot, however, diminish the love of Christ for His ward.

Death cannot reduce the power of God.

Death absolutely cannot separate us from Him.

You built mansions for your maker on planet earth, no wonder He prepared a beautiful place for you.

Your ministrations impacted positively on me and my children and has helped us so much on our life journey.

Eternity to the godly is a day that has no sunset.

May our good Lord comfort your wife, children, wider family and entire flock.

Good night Pastor. You will be sorely and sadly missed. The saints of God will join you on resurrection morning.

Anita Ike

I was shocked to my marrow when today while going through the daily newspaper (Punch Newspaper) in my office as usual, and stumbled on an obituary. Little did I know that it was one of our member, Redemption Camp Homeowners Association, Pastor Bosun Ogunyinka.

Pastor Bosun, though we are not that close but as the Chairman of the Association, I had had opportunity to meet and discuss with you on several occasion.

During the last Convention, I saw several vehicles parked in front of you house, even saw lights on, I thought you were around. But since we didn't hold our usual meeting during this year's Convention, I never knew that you were far away Canada.

My brother, on behalf of every member of the Homeowners Association, I say GOOD NIGHT AND REST IN THE BOSSOM OF THE LORD,WHERE WE WILL MEET AND PART NO MORE.

As for your family, The Lord will console them.

Hendrick Polanco My deepest condolences August 22, 2013

My deepest condolences.  May these few words from the Holy Scriptures bring you comfort in your time of grief...

John 11:32-45

32 And so Mary, when she arrived where Jesus was and caught sight of him, fell at his feet, saying to him: “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.” 33 Jesus, therefore, when he saw her weeping and the Jews that came with her weeping, groaned in the spirit and became troubled; 34 and he said: “Where have YOU laid him?” They said to him: “Lord, come and see.” 35 Jesus gave way to tears. 36 Therefore the Jews began to say: “See, what affection he used to have for him!” 37 But some of them said: “Was not this [man] that opened the eyes of the blind man able to prevent this one from dying?”

38 Hence Jesus, after groaning again within himself, came to the memorial tomb. It was, in fact, a cave, and a stone was lying against it.39 Jesus said: “TAKE the stone away.” Martha, the sister of the deceased, said to him: “Lord, by now he must smell, for it is four days.”40 Jesus said to her: “Did I not tell you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” 41 Therefore they took the stone away. Now Jesus raised his eyes heavenward and said: “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. 42 True, I knew that you always hear me; but on account of the crowd standing around I spoke, in order that they might believe that you sent me forth.” 43 And when he had said these things, he cried out with a loud voice: “Laz´a·rus, come on out!” 44The [man] that had been dead came out with his feet and hands bound with wrappings, and his countenance was bound about with a cloth. Jesus said to them: “Loose him and let him go.”

45 Therefore many of the Jews that had come to Mary and that beheld what he did put faith in him;

Rev. Izu Ezeume Adieu, Man of God! August 22, 2013
It was a huge shock Pst. Bosun Ounyinka when the news of your passing on filtered in about a week ago. Indeed we looked forward to your full recovery after the improvements on your health but it was not to be. Although we do not fully undertstand why however, we are encouraged by the fact that God loves you much more than we all do.

Your life was an Inspiration to many of us ministers of the gospel in Isolo. Your doggedness. Your addiction to the things of God. Your faith in God. Your passion for kingdom delights. It is indeed not really how long but how well. You fought a good fight.

Rest peacefully in the bosom of your master that you loved so much and whom served tirelessly.

See you on that glorious morning.
